Overseas Missions
Ms. Clara Biswas works with the ‘poorest of the poor’ in slum areas and garbage dumps to facilitate their move to relocation and rehabilitation centers. She describes her mission work as follows: sharing the love of God, helping children obtain an education by opportunities to study through scholarship, improving living conditions by providing vocational training, providing medical care and financial support to the ill and with education creating awareness on human trafficking, human rights and domestic violence. She is certainly doing the work of Jesus Christ and we feel very fortunate to able to help her as she helps others. We will have an address for Ms. Biswas, and we are asking that individuals, groups or classes write letters of thanks and encouragement to her. We are hoping that at some time in the future she may able to come to the church and tell us personally about her work. However, she has not been back to the U.S. since 2005, so we have no timetable on when this might take place. Any updates and correspondences that we have concerning this mission will be posted on the Missions bulletin board located in the Sunday School wing.

Growing Food for God's People
News you can use!
Hallelujah! God is blessing us in so many ways and providing all we need. Bonnie Plants has agreed to donate seedlings again for the third year. We are grateful to Nathan Fannin for his generosity.
As the growing season approaches, we need your help:
- RSVP for April 13 planting day and let us know: How many are coming; your preference for task (digging/non-digging) or type of vegetable to plant.
- Friday 4/5 AM- Help to load and unload manure from Brookfield farms in Pungo; pitchfork helpful. RSVP if you can help.
- Sat. 4/6 10 AM – meet up at garden for weeding, cleanup and sign install.
As you celebrate Easter with your family, remember Jesus' sacrifice and resurrection makes everything we do have meaning and purpose. Happy Easter!

Society of St. Andrews
Where we seek comfort, Jesus seeks justice.. Our journey through Lent will soon bring us to the foot of the Cross. In the midst of termoil and sadness, Jesus is "Living Proof" that God's justice is for all of God's people. For every comfort that you have been given: a house, car, a bed, food to eat, set aside 2 cents for a brother or sister whose justice in this world of plenty, looks different than yours. Make a difference in this world by donating to the Society of Saint Andrew. Coin collection boxes are in the Narthex.
